Fibreglass (Vanuatu) Ltd was established in 1991 by an expatriate investor. In 1997 the company was acquired by local ni-Vanuatu investors.
The company initially produced fiberglass water tanks and boats as its main sales products. In 2000 the company expanded it's product range and now offers a wide range of other products including Water Tanks (five sizes); Septic Tanks; Grease Traps; Gutters; Beach Chairs; and Household products such wash tubs, baths, sinks, vanity units.

In 2001 the company entered into a joint venture agreement with an Australian company and formed Pacific Polytanks Ltd. This company produces Polyethylene water tanks, bins, and buckets.
Pacific Polytanks Ltd. aims to provide Vanuatu and other South Pacific populations with long terms solutions to their water storage needs with the six sizes of Polyethlene Water Tanks ranging from 250 ltr. to 6000 ltr. The company has a Rotational Moulding Machine which produces the 1100 litre water tanks down to 20 litrebuckets. The company plans to install a larger machine with the capacity to produce the larger tanks from 2,000 to 10,000 litre in the near future.
Over the past four years Pacific Polytank products have reached many communities and we look forward to exporting more of this product in 2007.
